Portfolio Requirements


 

Interim Portfolio


Your Interim Portfolio must include all work you have done thus far, in order and clearly titled. By now all of Workshop 1 should be done (which and how many pieces of writing will depend on what grade you have chosen to pursue). Workshop 3 should also be completed, though I will accept a first draft of any writing activity sent back for revision in the week before the Interim Portfolio is due.

The Interim Portfolio must also contain one revised and polished Main Assignment (your choice) to be considered for a grade, and it must be introduced by a Cover Letter. Each workshop in Being a Writer has a section about Cover Letters specific to the Main Assignment of that workshop. I recommend reviewing these before you write yours.

Your Interim grade will be determined by the overall grade of your portfolio (75%) and your class participation (25%). Please note that in order to be eligible for a passing grade in the course, you must have completed any required weekly pCLUEs and Grammar Worksheets.
